​UvA in Carré Business seminars

During the first six weeks of the academic year, students enrolled in the MSc Business Administration attend our UvA in Carré Business Seminars held once a week on Fridays in September and October. This unique series of seminars features prominent speakers from leading companies such as Ahold Delhaize, Unilever, Vodafone Ziggo, Google and l'Oréal. Master in Business Administration

How should business respond to the opportunities of new technology, digital marketing and globalisation? Why are some start-ups successful in developing new products  and markets while others are not? Which business models will be successful in the age of digital business?

To understand the challenges that business organisations are facing today, insights from many different disciplines are needed. That is why the Master's in Business Administration is offering a wide range of courses in Digital Business, Marketing, Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Finance, International Management and Leadership that are typical for a Master in Business Administration. On top of that, this Master will allows you to customise the programme. 
Students will combine academic rigour and theory with working on real cases provided to you by our corporate partners.

One Master programme, seven tracks

The Master's in Business Administration allows you to choose a top-level academic specialisation track in one of the following disciplines. For more information about the specialisation tracks see the separate track programmes:

In addition to a preferred specialisation, you may choose from a wide range of elective courses, like Online Marketing, Start-up Branding, Negotiations, Entrepreneurship in China, or Business Strategy and Sustainability. This gives you the opportunity to tailor the programme precisely to your own personal preferences and skills.
In addition to the curriculum of the MSc Business Administration, you will have the possibility of doing an internship. This especially gives international students a unique opportunity to experience the Dutch labour market. You can also participate in an exchange semester facilitated by the university and profit from our network of top-universities worldwide.


After successful completion of this programme, you will receive a legally accredited Master’s degree in Business Administration and the title Master of Science (MSc).
